If you smell gas in your home, you should always take action immediately. First of all – turn off the gas supply. Next, get fresh air into your home – open all the windows and doors. If you can`t open the windows, get outside as soon as possible. You should avoid smoking and using matches or candles.
Always make sure that your household appliances are properly installed and inspected yearly. It`s easier to deal with a gas leak by stopping it from occurring in the first place.
